Home Made Vegan Waffle, Strawberry Sauce & Strawberry Juice
I am not a vegan person. However, my sister and I craved good homemade waffles for brunch; we ran out of ingredients, devised a recipe, and made a vegan waffle instead. This vegan waffle recipe turned out to be mouth-watering and super delicious. The strawberry sauce has been my favorite recipe. I ate with waffles, pancakes, french toast, and everything else I can eat with, or sometimes I eat it by itself, just like applesauce, which is refreshing and delicious. This Strawberry compote is excellent for homemade fruity carbonated drinks or just Strawberry juice. So if you like delicious vegan breakfast and homemade drinks, this is a recipe for you:
HOMEMADE VEGAN WAFFLE RECIPE
What you need:
2 tsp baking powder
One tablespoon of raw brown sugar
1/4 cup apple sauce
1 cup almond milk
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Spray preheated waffle iron, and pour the mix onto the hot waffle iron. Cook until golden brown.
Homemade Strawberry Sauce recipe:
1 1/2 cups of Strawberry:
1/2 cup of sugar, or you can add more for extra sweetness.
1 tablespoon of lemon.
1 cup of water
Use a medium size pot.
Pour the water and the berries.
Heat the strawberries until they boil, stir well, and let them cook until they are completely smashed.
Add sugar and lemon juice stirring constantly, and let it boil for another 2 minutes.
Remove from the heat.
Let it cool down and be ready to serve.
Strawberry Juice Recipe:
For one cup of drink
Three tablespoons of Homemade Strawberry sauce or more.
1 spoon of fresh squeezed Lemon juice
One cup of water or 1 cup of carbonated water (for a carbonated drink); if you want to add alcohol, you can use rum.
Add more sugar to the taste.
