Hello everyone, how is your Christmas celebration so far? I'm sure you enjoy your Christmas celebration as much as I enjoy mine.
We are in the process of moving from California to Washington. As for now, we're living in between two states; my husband and I every other month we have a trip to California to finalize the rest of the moving process. On the other hand, my kids already settled down and started their school; it seems like they love it here in Washington. They made friends and have a huge backyard to play with, and the crisp, clean air is so much better here in Washington, where the temperature is so friendly in comparison to scorching hot California.
This Christmas, we decided to celebrate in Washington state with friends and family; it was one of the best choices we made, we had a wonderful white Christmas. It's our first white Christmas and is so much different from when we in California; we had to drive an hour away to play in the snow; here in Washington, the snow only one step away from the door.
And here a peek at our Christmas celebration:
The table centerpieces, mostly made of the leaves and plant for the yard, had abundant pine leaves, pine cones, and red berries. I paint the tip of the pine cone to resemble snow falling in the backyard. And add flowers that I bought from the supermarket.
I bought The small snow globes place card from Target years ago; I still kept it and used it once awhile in wintertime. The good thing about it is not just exclusively for Christmas time, but you can use it in the winter season when you entertain your guests for dining at your home.
The wooden blog under the place card, my brother-in-law, made it from the tree in the back yard that he cut it. We had to cut some trees that were too closed to the house during the windy season to prevent a falling tree accident.
These are pictures of delicious Pineapple tart and Speculaas Cookie.
Pineapple tart and Speculaas cookie is the Christmas tradition that we inherited from our Netherlands ancestor.
When I was growing up, my mom always baked this cookie every Christmas; it's a tradition in our family; I diligently attend to carry out this tradition with my family. So, every Christmas, we will serve this delicious cookie to our guests.
Usually, we ate this cookie with hot cocoa or with a coffee drink.

I think this is the cheapest Christmas tree that I ever had, I bought this Christmas tree from Walmart, and I flog it using.
After the party end and all the guests went home, I always make a particular time with my daughter for hot cocoa before she went to sleep.
