8 Home Remedies To Revive Tired Skin
This Holiday season has been busy, with back-to-back parties and the hectic holiday activities I must endure. Although it was fun and fabulous until it took a toll on my skin, I'm exhausted and need a rest; my skin looks dull and withered and desperately much-needed boosts.
Makeup cannot help that much either, and it can't hide my baggy eyes and tired skin; my skin needs much nourishment. So when all my expensive department store moisturizers and beauty mask don't seem to work, I looked for an alternative way to help gain my skin radiant complexion, home remedies that it's been handed down throughout generations, a natural way to treat many skin problems.
Mother nature has given us many things we can use to provide skin, which we need to restore our skin's radiance. From fresh lemons to carrots and beans, they are loads of vitamins and minerals that can give our skin the inner nourishment it needs to look healthy and beautiful.
If you have the same skin problem as mine, then this is what you need to do to revive your tired skin. First, you must start with enough sleep, drink plenty of water, get enough morning Sunshine, and eat the proper nutrition for your body, then continue with home remedies. You can find these things in your kitchen or garden to revitalize and rejuvenate your skin's overall existence.
1. Aloe Vera
It is well known to treat burned skin; it has active compounds that may reduce inflammation and help repair, moisturize, and stimulate skin growth. To revive tired skin and bring back the glow, all we need to do is get the Aloe Vera, cut it open, and then remove the clear gel. Before applying it to your skin, wash it thoroughly with warm water ( leave it like a mask); wait until it is dried. This routine helps maintain healthy hair, do the same step, apply it to your scalp, leave it for thirty minutes, and then wash your hair with a gentle shampoo.
2. Tomatoes
For under-eye puffiness and dark circle:
Tomatoes are rich in vitamins A and C. Tomatoes are well known for reducing puffy eyes and dark circles; keep them in the refrigerator until cold, cut them into thin slices, and then place one portion to each eye for one hour. And also, this routine helps moisturize dried skin.
For the Face: squeeze it and mix one tablespoon of tomato juice, a teaspoon of honey, and one teaspoon of lemon, apply a thin layer of the mixed sauce on your clean, slightly damp skin, leave it dry and wash your face with gentle soap.
3. Honey
Honey is naturally antibacterial, so it is excellent for acne treatment. Potent antioxidant to help slow down aging skin. Very well moisturizing and soothing and promotes a beautiful glow to your skin.
How to use it: Apply raw honey to the slightly damp skin, leave it for at least 30 minutes,s then gently rinse it with warm water.
For Scrub: Mix granulate sugar, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 coconut oil, and vitamin E oil ( you can cut open a vitamin E capsule and mix it with sugar, coconut oil,l, and honey) for facial and body scrub.
4. Milk
As you know, milk is an excellent nutrient for our bones, and it turns out it also has tremendous benefits for our skin. It nourishes, removes stains on the skin, prevents premature aging, and promotes smooth, radiant, and healthy glow skin.
Once said, 'The queen of beauty Cleopatra liked to bathe in sour milk to enhance her skin's appearance by slowing down age and wrinkle.
When milk sours, the bacteria will be converted the sugar lactose in the liquid into lactic acid. And when alpha hydroxy acid, such as lactic acid, is applied to the skin, it causes the skin's exterior layer to peel off, leaving younger-looking skin. So, although I am not going down her (Cleopatra) path (which is a bit extreme for me), regular milk will be fine.
How to use it:
Milk Mask:
Mix 1 tablespoon of milk/ yogurt, a half tablespoon of honey and lemon juice, and a teaspoon of avocado (optional, only for dried skin). Mix well, apply all over the face for 15-20 minutes, and rinse with lukewarm water.
For Scrub: A half-cup of milk and one spoon of oatmeal, and a Vitamin E oil capsule mix, and you can use them for facial and body scrub.
To moisturize your skin, add 2 gallons of milk to your bathtub and soak with it for one hour while listening to your favorite music. It can be a rejuvenating and relaxing activity; rinse yourself with water when you're done.
5. Cucumber
It helps reduce puffy eyes and dark circles just slicing it and keeping it fresh in the refrigerator, and placing one slice of cucumber on each eye for 30 minutes.
6. Green tea
Green tea is full of antioxidants and helps smooth out the skin. Drinking it daily is one way to help maintain a healthy lifestyle and keep our skin refined and radiant.
For tea steam: Merely boil 3 cups of water and pour it into a large bowl; add two green tea bags and two vitamin E drops ( I got it from the capsule). Place a towel over your head to cover your face, create a tent, bend over the bowl, and pour d allow the steam to enter your pores for 10 minutes; this will hydrate your skin thoroughly.
To Reduce Puffy Eyes: Brew two bags of tea, cool it down (it is faster when you put it in the refrigerator) place each one on both of your eyes.
7. White Eggs:
Most of you know eggs contain many great benefits for our bodies, inside and out.
How to make it: Separate the white from the yolk and, put it aside, whip it well with a fork until it looks like foam. Then, please apply it to your clean skin, leave it until your skin tightens up ( like you wear a masker), and gently wash your skin.
8. Juicing
And here is a juice recipe that can help to heal your skin.
Ingredients:
Two tomatoes, one celery, three spoons of lemons juice, a bit of fresh ginger, one small carrot, and honey to the taste. Mix it all using a blender and drink it. It is healthy, tastes good, and will help your skin glow like morning sunshine.
Thank you so much for reading, and I hope this will help.
