Polka Dot In Winter Time

Polka Dot for winter

As cold as it is in Seattle, I think I have gotten used to it already by now. Living in a warm place for most of my life, I thought adjusting to Seattle would be challenging, but I was wrong. It wasn't that bad. This couple of days, we got more Sunshine here in Seattle when as usual is gloomy and never-ending rain. The temperature was above 60 degrees Fahrenheit, so yes, we were having a good time enjoying the rare occasion of having Sunshine in the Wintertime; most of the time, we got rain to the point that I was almost losing hope of seeing Sunshine again. I never hear in California people say," Oh, there's a Sunshine, let's get outside so we can get some sun!" In fact, in California, when there's Sunshine, we stay inside the house and crank up the air condition; no one dares to be outside and get burned!

Having a Sunshine allowed me to wear something light and stylish to a special occasion hosted by a husband's colleague from work. And since the Polka dot is making a comeback, I thought wearing it on this occasion, even in the winter, would be nice.

I have always been fond of the Polka dot; it is such a sweet innocent, and playful graphic print to wear; it reminds me of the oldies when Ethel and Lucy Show and the cute Mini Mouse wearing Polka Dot, but whatever it was, this was the time when most Women dress up and nicely done.
