Reuben's Birthday Barn
Lovelies, let me introduce you to our adorable and handsome little addition to the family, he's my nephew, and his name is Reuben John, after my father. He is active, a healthy, cute little boy just starting to walk, ready to conquer the world and capture everybody's heart who meets him.
This party was a celebration of his first Birthday party; it was a small but fun party, so we invited only close friends and family. Reuben was so happy than usual to see all his family get together and give him special attention; he was the king of the day and smiled from ear to ear.
So here's the deal, I checked the store for Birthday Banner it cost around eight to twenty-five dollars. So since I don't need a big sign on the house, I bought this little-painted frame with a photo Elephant and the balloon at the Ross For Less Department Store; it was only $6.99; it's a deal, right?! So I got Black Sharpie to write the message on the side. And it's turned out to be a beautiful Birthday sign.
I made a mistake in writing his name; my sister got mad at me and said, "Do you forget how to spell his name?!" But, like always, she loves me and forgives me. So I tried to fix it, but I didn't know how, so we just left it be and hoped no one would notice.
On his Birthday, we make him a little barn house that we put inside the house for the kids to play in. It cost around $130.00 and took us two days to build it. After the Birthday party, we placed the little barn house outside in our backyard so he could play with it as much as he wanted.
All the animals in the cake represent the animal you can find around our house. Yes, we have ducks, horses, chickens, dogs, birds, and four deer, in our little land; it is cool, isn't it?!
Thank you so much for stopping by; love! Please let me know what you think in the comment below!
Much love,
Joice
