It seems to me time running a bit faster nowadays. For sure, I knew we are approaching summertime; I didn't realize it would be this fast. I was still bundled up in front of the fireplace this past week, and here we are, with our grill ready for barbecuing for our Memorial Day Celebration. Although the forecast stated that it is going to be a gloomy weekend but who noticed? I think I'll rather be here in my beloved Seattle city than anywhere else in the US (especially when I saw the news about Colorado, Phew...I didn't know still winter and snow over there)
We are at the end of the Springtime, so I'd like to show you our spring interior decor. Living in the countryside, we opted to have these stylish farmhouse decors, but my love for French country decor had a lot of influence on how I decorated our place. The interior house itself painted with such bright colors ( FYI: is not my choice of colors), so I decorated mostly with subtle, muted shades to tone down the hues of the rooms, so it does not look obtrusive, but I'm after the cozy and warm feeling for the places.
I love to changes the decor according to the seasons, but since it required funds to do so, I always try to stick with my budget so I won't overspend. I opted for affordable items but also chic and stylish. And I also have things that I kept it through seasons and just redecorated and moved it to different spots around the house, especially for my antique collection. For that, I mixed and matched with my seasonal decor.

The Bicycle art frame I got it from Walmart; it was love at first sight; I thought I have to have it. It is too beautiful just to let it pass, and is scream springtime! I also purchased some of the items at Target Department Store; the $1, $3, and 5 dollar items are such fun items to have, is so affordable you can toss it after season end or keep it and use it again for the next season. Homegoods and Marshalls also my favorite place to buy some of my decors. For sure, I mixed and Matched my high-end arts and decor with the affordable seasonal decor that I purchased.

Here to check for our Memorial Day Celebration last year. There are a delicious dessert recipe and awesome decor for your inspiration.
Thank you so much for reading and
Happy Memorial Day, USA!
