Warm Apple Cider
This wintertime, there's nothing better than delicious hot drinks to keep you warm in this cold weather. Hot Apple Cider will warm you up from head to toe. A perfect blend of citrus and spice makes this drink perfect for a chill night to enjoy with warm apple pie while spending time with the family in front of the fireplace.
I first tried this when my pastor invited us to his Christmas party last year. His wife served us this delicious drink; since then, it has become one of my favorite drinks. At first glance, this warm juice did not look inviting; it seemed strange because of how the orange looked with many clove sticks. So I didn't care as much until my sister offered me to give it a try; it was just one sip and enough to convince me. But unfortunately, that day, we went home without having a chance to ask for the recipe.
About a week after I went to church and met my pastor's wife, I asked her politely for the recipe, and she gave it to me. Things that I love the most are when I cook it, and the whole house smells divine; this drink has a distinctive aroma, and the apple, orange, and spice all together create sweet memories and turnout; you can drink it when it is cold too so is perfect for enjoying a year-round.

Ingredients: 2 (2L) quarts apple cider 1 orange 2 cinnamon sticks + 1 for serving 1 tablespoon whole cloves 1/2 teaspoon allspice whole 1/4 cup brown sugar An ounce of rum (optional)

I got the Apple cider from Save-way or Vons Supermarket, and I'm sure Albertson Supermarket has it too.
